Learning Xcode

I’ve started learning Xcode 3.0! It’s awesome and simple to learn at first. I understand how the objects work, and how to put together a simple interface. Now I just have to crack down in my Objective-C programming book, and learn some code. I’m already starting plans for my first applications. I can’t wait to actually make something useful!

Dropbox Review

I just got invited to the Dropbox Beta! For those of you who don’t know what Dropbox is, it’s awesome! You should try it out!

Dropbox is a web service that interacts with your computer(s). It’s compatible with Mac or PC. To say that it’s a file storage utility is an understatement. It’s more then that. One of the things that makes it especially cool is it’s version control management. Dropbox creates a folder on your computer, that when you put files in it, Dropbox automatically starts uploading them to the server. And when you modify a file or folder, it gets updated as well. And what’s cool is that when you update a file, it saves the previous versions of it, and only uploads the part that was changed. You can easily restore files to a earlier time.

I’m making an official to-do list for my site. Here it is:

• Style ul and li tags
• Create page.php template file
• Write up the footer on the home page (Twitter updates, recent comments / posts, search bar?)
• Make page template files for Work, Projects, About, and Contact
• Go around, and fix little bugs and annoyances on the site

I got the comment system up and running. Now you can post replies to my wonderful posts, and let me know what you think. I’m still debating whether or not I like the way the comments are displayed, so it’s subject to change.

The All New Me

Well, welcome to my new site! I’ve finally finished my new design, and this is what it’s going to look like. Take a few minutes to go around and check stuff out, and you’ll realize that it still is being worked on. But I just wanted to get this up and running so that everybody could know that I haven’t ditch you, and that I’m working on it.

If you haven’t already guessed, this site is powered by wordpress. I hand coded it in XHTML and PHP, and created all the sick images myself in Adobe Fireworks. Don’t even think about stealing my design!
